One Healthy Baby!

Sorry for the glare, it is a picture of a picture! (we don't have a scanner) No twins, but one healthy baby! Heart rate was 177 which means it probably will be a girl, but one can never tell, I guess! (my son's heart rate was always in the 150's and the girls' were in the 170-180's) I don't know if you can tell, but in the bottom picture, the baby is kicking his/her left leg up by his tummy! (so cute!) I have been asked by a few of you, yes, we will find out the sex of the baby. That will be in April. We didn't find out with our first, with the second, we did find out around 32 weeks and didn't tell anyone (which was really fun to do!) then with the last 2 we did find out and tell people. It's nice to prepare (get the right boxes out, since they are c-sections, I won't be doing that afterward) and for the kids to feel closer!

Thank you for all your prayers, I appreciate them.

  9. Beautiful photos!

You remain in my prayers, sweet Jamie--for a healthy pregnancy, a healthy baby, and the grace to make it through these last couple months of winter! :)

  10. Oh Jamie! I'm so happy for you! I love a good ultrasound picture! And I can see the baby kicking. :-)
I'm voting on a girl too. They have the cutest baby girl stuff out now! There was a little baby girl at Mass last weekend, about four or five months, and I wanted to die her outfit was so adorable!

  12. Oh that is so sweet. I am so happy to hear the baby is healthy!

My mom swears by the heartbeat thing. My boys all had lower heartbeats.

I liked knowing about Babycakes and the name you picked out for her. I always prayed for her and Babycakes always has had a sweet spot in my heart. Soooo...like others I am anxious to hear if it is a boy or girl!

Prayers for you and your beautiful family!

  14. How wonderful! Doesn't your heart just race when you get in that room - it makes all the crappy days fade away.

I'm going in for my 16 week today, so the 20wk ultra sound will be 3/11. We too will be finding out the sex. I need to prepare while there is less comotion around here. You have an interesting situation with your rooms, so one more girl - oh my.

I'll send an extra prayer to God that we're hoping for boys - to be companions for our boys.

  16. Exciting news.

I do think the heart rate thing has something to it. Aslynn's was much higher than the three boys' heart rates.

It will be exciting to hear the 'official' news in April, though!

  17. Well as you know mine are all girls and their heart rates were in the 150's so I guess you really never know. I always thought the faster heart rate like 160+ meant a boy and assumed that since none of mine have ever had that:)
