32 Appointments to go!

Isn't this nice? My doctor's office sends me this schedule of my appts, so my countdown starts. This list does not include 4 other appts and I crossed off the ones after August 27th, because that is my C-section date! These appts are weekly NST's (non-stress tests) and Ultrasounds and OB's. Being a type 1 diabetic (since age 10), multiple C-section, almost 40 year old, they take no chances. I'm trying to look at these 32 appts in 2 1/2 months as blessings.
I'm not sure what their yellow and pink codes are though.
My OB is going on vacation next week to Germany and so she gave me a 2 week break and is not starting all this until the end of June, yahoo!

  1. We're in the home stretch, right, Jamie...tell me we are in the home stretch as I sit here with VERY swollen feet!

  2. Call when you can. I know summer is a busy time.

I am as anxious as you are to see this sweet little pumpkin! Getting meals ready yet. Getting those little baby clothes washed yet?

  3. I had no idea it was that many!! Hopefully some are on the same day so you aren't running around multiple times each week.

  4. It will mostly be 3 times per week, sometimes 4. They did schedule some of the OB's with the NST or the Ultrasound, which will help. Now...which ones can I bring the kiddos with?

  6. I was actually one of those moms that loved my appointments and was happy to get more! Since I was a huge worrier I loved having the chance to get another peak at the baby. Being pregnant with twins was lovely for me in that respect. :)
I had a weekly non-stress test with the twins, and I didn't take Aslynn to those because she wasn't even two yet and I knew it was too long for her to sit. But, I often had to take the three big kids to Henry's appointments. Imagine the stares when I lugged three kids 4 and under into an OB appointment for another baby! The boys often got scared and ended up sitting on top of me while the doctor did his checks. It wasn't ideal, but I had no other choice at the time...

Why do I always ramble so?

I'm very excited for your new little sweetie to arrive. Enjoy the countdown to Baby and all your 32 appointments!
