Surgery Scheduled

November 8th
His lip will be thinned and brought down
 and
 his nostrils brought in closer

Although, I've gone through surgery with him already,
I still get sick to my stomach every time I think about it
(which is all the time)
My sweet little Sims is going to look different.
I just want to soak him up, just the way he is.
You know, when you are feeding your baby
and you kiss them and breathe in their milk breath
and air as they breathe...you know right?
(one of those things I love with babies)

Please pray for him
(I know you are)
Thank you so much.

My sweet little Sims, I love you so much.

*I'm praying this novena, which starts today,
for his doctors, nurses and all who care for him, for a quick recovery,
for this surgery to move that front thing down and into place where it needs to be
for his palate surgery, and for our family to remain strong.

  14. My kids are in Rome right now remembering Simeon in Italy during each of their stops at the Holy Places they visit. Please email me your address at all.this.and.heaven@gmail.com so that I can send you a special medal for Simeon. We want to send you a Kateri medal that will be blessed by the Holy Father at the end of Saint Kateri's canonization Mass.
    In Him,
    Shannon

Actually, it will be sad to see his little smile change again. I love his cute little lip. It gives him personality!
