I'm one of them. I'm a convert, just to put that out there. But, I strongly believe many make the decision to sterlize in ignorance - and some defiance in the sense that we know that the Church says no to it yet we disregard our responsibility to find out why. We are morally responsbible to form our consciences. I know that now, but I did not then.

Please do not focus on someone else's "sin". I would feel terrible if someone were to be mad at me because I made a misake. I guess what I am saying is, approach everything in love and concern. At this point, it is something they did, not you. Please keep in mind I am not excusing their choice. Nor should you. But I am saying, don't let your feelings hinder your life in Christ or your hope to have your own children some day.

I feel terrible for your situation, I truly do. You are doing all you can, I am sure. I cannot say I know what you are going through, because I do not. I do promise to pray for you.

God bless you and give you His peace.Sarah - Kalahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17877449375576975508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7056332983367489033.post-41189214171030108152008-06-12T20:58:00.000-05:002008-06-12T20:58:00.000-05:00I forgot to tell you I like your new picture!!I forgot to tell you I like your new picture!!Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11713312386803561115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7056332983367489033.post-16669955156046966132008-06-12T17:42:00.000-05:002008-06-12T17:42:00.000-05:00Jaime,You pray the rosary and divine mercy chaplet...Jaime,

You pray the rosary and divine mercy chaplet too? Do you pray them every day? 5 decades or 15 decades of the rosary? Do you use any special prayer aids/booklets? Which ones? I have a special devotion to the Blessed Mother and the rosary too! What special graces have you received from praying the rosary and divine mercy chaplet? Have you ever received a signal grace?

When you have a moment, I'd really LOVE to hear more about your devotion to the Blessed Mother and the rosary! Thanks!

Love,
MariaMaria https://www.blogger.com/profile/01620122996830327060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7056332983367489033.post-91291845660997597842008-06-12T17:01:00.000-05:002008-06-12T17:01:00.000-05:00Thank you so much for this post!I have a sister in...Thank you so much for this post!

I have a sister in law who is a great lady, but I know she has used the pill from a comment she made once. Recently I was over her house and overheard her talking to her aunt saying that "one of them (my brother or her) was sterilized". I came out of the bathroom, oveheard this remark, and I was shocked!

It is frustrating to me because they are Catholic, but they do not seem to know that contraception or being sterilized is a sin. I know she is the one who was sterilized and not my brother - I just have this feeling.

It is also frustrating to me because I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis in February when I had surgery to remove two ovarian cysts and I was told I could be infertile. I am probably infertile because our 1st wedding anniversary is coming up on June 16th, we have been trying for a baby since the wedding, and I haven't been able to get pregnant once. Here I have a sister in law who recieved the gift of fertility from God, but removed it by her own free will. Then we have me who has been a daycare teacher for almost twenty years, adores children, longs to be a Catholic homeschooling stay at home wife and mother, but it seems I have the cross of endometriosis and infertility.

I pray everyday for the graces I need to accept this cross, but it's still hard.

P.S. We did ask a favorite Catholic priest for a blessing of my womb a few weeks ago!

You are so blessed to be a Mom and have children! I will remember you and your family in my daily rosary!

May God Bless you and your lovely family.

MariaMaria https://www.blogger.com/profile/01620122996830327060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7056332983367489033.post-37939218553163376432008-06-12T15:05:00.000-05:002008-06-12T15:05:00.000-05:00Excellent post! Thanks for the links.

In the 1930's all the Christian churches said they were not for contraception.

Our culture is so sick I really don't know how it can ever be fix??!!??!Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11713312386803561115noreply@blogger.com
