"The Mother of God, the most pure virgin, carried the True Light in her arms and brought Him to those who lay in darkness. We too, should carry a light for all to see and reflect the radiance of the True Light as we hasten to meet Him."
-St Sophonius
Happy and Blessed Mother's day to all out there!
***I loved this holy card of Mary, because we all have that awe when looking at our newborns, or any baby for that matter. You know, when you just stare at the baby sleeping and are amazed? Can you even imagine the awe that our Blessed Mother had when she looked at her Son? When she looked at God?
Dear Jaime,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank you for the visiting my blog and what you wrote. I am trying so hard to accept God's will and trust Him, but it's difficult especially when I want to be a Mommy so much. However this upcoming Mother's Day I want to think about Mother's and do something for them.
For you on Mother's Day, I will remember you, your family, and your intentions in my daily rosary.
The rosary is my favorite devotion too. In fact, I am hoping to be able to purchase one of your friend Sara's beautiful clay rosaries soon! The Blessed Mother is very special to me and the rosary always brings me such peace and comfort.
One thing I learned. When I am feeling discouraged and down, what really helps me and cheers me up is praying for and doing something special for others! I am hoping to send you some information on the 54 day rosary novena soon and a book I think you will enjoy.
As always, you, the baby, and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are feeling well, the baby is doing well, and your leg is healing. I prayed a 54 day rosary novena for you when you broke your ankle for healing. I plan on starting another one soon and again praying for you.
