Using the coloring sheet from Waltzing Mathilda, we color and cut out the Blessed Virgin, then, glue her to a blue piece of construction paper.
Then, to make the "Grotto" we rip pieces of paper (we didn't have gray) and glue them around the Blessed Mother to look like rock.

beautiful. I'm going to go check out W.M.'s coloring sheet.
ReplyDeleteCute! We did a version of it last year, but I think we'll try the torn up paper rocks like yours this year. You're so creative!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea! Our printer is not working so....maybe I will have to draw it for my son.
ReplyDeleteWe made grottos last year using Charlotte's coloring page. I like the ripped paper for the stones. I think we will miss a few feast days in the next month (or more) ... I just can't plan things right now. I barely know what day it is, let alone what feast days are upon us. Oh well. It's OK. I would like to prepare a bit for Lent, though ...
ReplyDeleteSo cute! What a great craft :-)
ReplyDeleteJamie, I'm just picking one post at random on which to comment but I love ALL your crafts and thank you for taking the time to post them.
ReplyDeleteHappy Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes! Have you been there? I have! :)
