Thankful for Sanjay and all the prayers from you, my faithful readers.
I know the family appreciates your prayers.
His short life has so much meaning and has people thinking about God and life.
Thankful for his parents who adopted him from India, knowing of his medical needs,
yet, loving him the way God wanted him to be loved, caring for him and all his needs.
Because of them, his short life was full of love and life.
I will share a little from his prayer card:
(grab a Kleenex)
Letting Go
The Angels gathering near your bed,
so very close to you
For they knew all of the things
that you were going through,
I thought about so many things,
I tightly held your hand,
how I wished that you were strong
And healthy once again;
But your eyes were looking homeward
to a place beyond the sky,
Where God will hold you always,
it was time to say goodbye;
I struggled with my selfish thoughts-
for I wanted you to stay
so we could walk and talk again
like we did-just yesterday;
But God still knows what's best
and I knew He loved you so
So I gave to you life's greatest gift:
The gift of letting go.
Please continue to pray for Sanjay's family, as Lent approaches,
They will all be in their Calvary uniting their pain
with that of our Lord's and Blessed Mother's.
(although everything seems so insignificant,
compared to the life of a beautiful 10 year old boy.
We are still thankful in the tiny and big things life brings,
the pains and the sorrows)
Thankful for girls who love to peel carrots....
Thankful for beautiful fancy girl pictures that adorn my fridge.
I never tire of getting these masterpieces.
for breakfast and the excitement that brings
to the kiddos!
(Thanks Danielle Bean! --although her recipe is not there anymore, I've had it for years!)
Thankful for your hilarious comments on my post yesterday
It's nice to know I'm not the only one who deals with a true picky eater!
Thankful for my Grandma in California, she turned 90 yesterday!!!
Thankful for my Grandma in California, she turned 90 yesterday!!!
How I wish I could see her.
Thankful for this yearning in my heart for all things holy.
Thankful Thursdays
A time to remember to be thankful
A pause in the week
for praise, thanksgiving and thinking positively
in addition to the normal daily praise
we need to give to God.
Thankful for you!
