My good friend Sarah, alerted me to this great deal!
I love the idea of getting to know each composer and his music.
We have lots of Classical music, but it is almost all in mixed CD's.
(except the baby Mozart ones we get free with every baby)
45% off, we bought it!
I have come to loe classical music- was just listening to some on my run this afternoon. That IS a great deal- thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip! This really is a great deal.
ReplyDeleteBlessings~
That is a great deal. We love this CD set! Great for car trips and quiet time school work like handwriting
ReplyDeleteThank you! We love to listen to classical music but like you, it's a bit disorganized. For fun, have you heard of the Classical Kid Series? It combines music and narration. My kids love them and I can listen to them over and over myself. For example, in Beethoven Lives Upstairs, you hear the story of B. told by a young boy and then B.'s music is played throughout. My favorite so far is Vivaldi's Ring of Mystery.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole! I'll check it out!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great deal. I think that's the same price that got when I bought this series a few months ago, but I used a 20% off coupon to get it. It's great for Liam to listen to during the enforced "quiet time" instead of a movie. I like the ones that Nicole mentioned too, but I almost like these better because there is no fiction in these stories whereas the other ones, I don't know what is true and what is not sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI need to do a better job at playing classical music for my son. We listen mostly to Christian music and at times, Irish music but rarely do I play any classical. Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip Jamie, my sister Marie loves classical music so much i am sure she will love it. Have a great week.
