Simeon Update

This is the fuzzy head Christine was talking about!
It's one of those blessings that come with babies!
I love the fuzz head time, it goes away so fast,
so I'm kissin' it as often as I can!
(you might have to click on the pictures to see that red fuzz!)
Gosh, where do I start?
I'll start with an update on little Simeon!
He, as of last Friday weighed 15 pounds, 11 ounces!!
That supplementing breastmilk with formula is chubbing him out,
and we are loving it!!

He will need surgery, on his Ureters.  They are both obstructed.
Both kidneys are fully functioning though, which is good.
His surgery is scheduled for December 18th,
he'll be in the Minneapolis Children's Hospital
for 3 days and home in time for his birthday!
(and Christmas)
Prayers much appreciated!!

Here's Christine, on my 43rd birthday!!
I'll try to "catch up" in  "Thankful Thursday" type posts

  4. I know that I only know you in this blog world, but you look good in that picture. Maybe the baby gaining weight has allowed a little relief from your stress. Simeon is so precious and he really is "chunk"ing up. He is so so cute! I bet the whole family is just eating him up. Have fun in this time of better health in between surgeries.
My older kids and their dad are going to Italy in October on a Pilgrimage. I am going to post a blog about it soon. We set up an email to take prayers. They are going to compile a list, print the intentions and then carry those papers from site to site and offer prayers for those that asked. Please send Simeon's health issue and family intentions to Prayers2take@gmail.com I will post more on it soon.

    1. Aren't those chubs just the best thing in the world? Wish people would continue to like chubs into adulthood...wouldn't that be great? "Look at the chubs on Jamie, Love it!" OH, well....

  17. Hi Jamie~Popping over to see how you are all doing! Happy and blessed belated birthday to you:) I can hardly believe I'll be 46 in 2 weeks~eek. Hope you had a nice day. I still pray for Simeon and will continue as he prepares for another surgery. What a sacrifice to offer as you prepare for all that during Advent. It just might produce some amazing fruits and gifts. God bless you and all of your little sweeties!
