Thinking of you, the baby, and your family. Praying that you are all doing well.
I actually had three blessings on my barren womb in the almost two years I've been married. The priest who married us on June 16th 2007, gave me a blessing. An Australian Priest from where we attend Mass here gave me another blessing. Also I have a good Catholic friend who is good friends of a priest at a famous Catholic college in the midwest. This wonderful priest has a ministry of praying with couples having difficulty concieving - many of them have been able to become pregnant after this priest prayed with them. Well, I wrote to this Priest, he called us up on the phone, and prayed over both my husband and I these beautiful prayers. His track record is that 90% percent of the couples he has prayed over have been able to become pregnant after his womb blessing.
I just had my second surgery to remove the endometriosis on April 1st 2009. My period never arrived last month. I did a pregnancy test and it was negative. I called up my Napro doctor today and left a message for him telling him. He told me it probably didn't come due to the stress of the surgery. He wants me to start today a ten day course of progesterone to jump start the menses.
Maybe someday it will be my turn and I will be a Mother. My heart and arms ache to hold a child. I want so much to be a Mother and be able to do all the wonderful things a good Catholic Mom does for her child/children. I wonder if I will ever get the chance? I'm going to be forty three on August 2nd. I continue to pray especially my rosary asking God to please, if it's His will, to move this mountain of infertility and bless us with a child.
Jaime, I pray for you, your baby, and family all the time. I even prayed a special 54 day rosary novena for you.
You are always in my thoughts and prayers. You are so blessed to be a Catholic Mother! So blessed!
I'll have to keep that in mind. Hope you are doing well. :-)
