When I was about 11 or 12 I had a paper route that required early morning deliveries. (we're talking like 5am...which is still early for me today!) My favorite thing ever was to walk around in the stillness before everyone woke for the morning and gazing at the stars. I used to see shooting stars all the time. The other day I was driving home at night, and I saw the first shooting star since then. It instantly brought me back to those days and put a smile on my face. I love shooting stars!! :)

Fun memory! It is amazing to be up before sunrise--or just before everyone else. (yet, it's still so easy to sleep in)
DeleteJoe's got the telescope ready- hoping we can all see something!
ReplyDeleteOH, a telescope would be great!
DeleteSounds awesome in the truest sense, Jamie! Thanks for the head's-up.
ReplyDeleteHope we get to see it this far south. You sure are having a snowy spring. Hope you are having a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteWith 52% of our days cloudy in central Ohio, I am hopeful but not overy optimistic. But thanks for telling me. Now I know what I'll be missing. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOverly not overy. But you knew that. Why does my kindle changes real words to other words but not change typos?
ReplyDeleteThat was a rhetorical question. ;-)
ReplyDeletehahah! We are expecting snow again (big shock I know) so not sure we will see anything either!
