Making a Comeback!
Wow! So, it's been a few years since I've been on this old blog! I have some updates to work on but thought I'd start today! Ab...

My aunt's funeral was yesterday. It was very nice. One of her sons gave a beautiful talk about her after Mass. He talked about how sh...

Every year we do the same crafts, so I've probably posted these same ones before. My goal is to label all my craft posts, so if someone ...
The rain...so much of it..and it is so cold out! good times getting groceries. Like you said...at least it is not snow!
ReplyDeleteYep.
ReplyDeleteRain here too.
Rain, rain, and more rain.
Poor kids.
I just keep telling Flynn that we need the rain to make things green.
So far, so good.
Don't know how much longer that will work, though. ; )
Have a cozy day...
Wish you could send some to Texas and New Mexico!
ReplyDeleteI've been singing that song today, too, but I actually love Mondays. Mondays are a little Happy New Year, or First Day of School, a fresh start, and every week, too! The rain, though, well, I've been requisitioning night time rains only, but to no avail. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes! We all love night time rains, don't we? Mondays are like that...I don't mind them, but the kids seem to forget how to follow any type of schedule on Mondays..."Oh, was I supposed to eat breakfast and practice piano before 8:30?"
DeletePlease send it to Texas like Jan suggested. We need it. So hot today! YUCK! Move to Texas but avoid Houston.
ReplyDeleteHahahah Neen, you are so funny!
DeleteGood memories - I loved the Carpenters. Saw them in concert when I was a teenager and was devastated when Karen died. hope your week goes well.
ReplyDeleteI remember that too..I was little though, but I was sad. They had a lot of great hits, that's for sure!
DeleteI triple the suggestion about sending it to TX. And as Christine said, that is no fun when grocery shopping. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteIt's just bad unloading the groceries into the vehicle....snow is MUCH worse...and COLd
DeleteI don't mind the occasional rainy day, I love a good thunderstorm (which we get awesome ones here in Texas) but when we lived in Washington State the rain about drove me crazy. Praying for blue skies and warm sunshine to come your way!
ReplyDeleteI like it when it rains overnight! (who doesn't?) but I keep thinking about how green everything will be! Are the storms scary in Texas though?
DeleteUs too. At least it's not horrible storms. We never go to the movies but I saw that Disney has their annual earth day show -- a bears documentary so I told the kids we'd see it on Thursday as long as everyone does their work and keeps a good attitude. So far, so good. The sun will come out soon!
ReplyDeletehahahaa, sounds like my kiddos! Yes, no storms here yet either...they will be here soon enough!
DeleteSend the rain down here!!! Send yourselves down here!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're trying Shelly, we're trying! We were looking (the girls and I) at homes in the Corpus Christi area the other day....closer to you, right?
DeleteYES!!!!! Just 40 minutes away from me!!!!!!
DeleteVery appropriate. This is what, the third day of none stop rain?
ReplyDeleteGoing on the 4th day today....
DeleteCould ya send some of that rain to Cali, we could really use it!
