This day, May 20th, marks Tom's 24 years of sobriety!
This day is more special to him than his birthday.
I am so very proud of him
God has given him so very much,
turned all the bad in his life to all things new.
He runs a halfway treatment home for men in recovery,
helping 24 men at a time, for 90 days,
getting them back into life, jobs, AA groups, and
making the right choices.
It's a hard job with little fruit,
but he is a gift to all these men.
I love him so much for all he's done with his life,
and for all he is!
Congratulations to Tom! God used his brokenness and turned it into fruit for others! He is a real blessing to all those he serves. May God continue to bless him in his work.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! That's amazing! What a beautiful second chance he received!

ReplyDeleteGod is so great! What a wonderful anniversary.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! God has certainly used his test for testimony. God bless your family.
ReplyDeleteExcellent!! And so admirable how he's helping others. His "fruit" will come.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Tom. God Bless you for all you do for all those wonderful kiddos and your wonderful wife. Of course, those guys you help out also. You are a blessing. Big Hugs to you!!
ReplyDeleteThis is great....congrats to him and it's so wonderful that he's helping others recover :)
ReplyDeleteGod bless him! That's wonderful. I grew up with an alcoholic stepfather, so I know how hard it can be.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Tom!! What an amazing and inspiring man you are married to, Jamie.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful testimony!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful Jamie. Congratulations to you Tom! My mother-in-law has been sober for about 15 years. I am so grateful I've gotten to know the "real" person she is, for her heart is so full of love.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to him! That's truly a wonderful thing to celebrate. May God continue to bless him and his work, and all he does.
ReplyDeleteOH Congratulations, that is a true accomplishment. He is a true gift to those men, especially since he can look them in the eye and say, "I've been there." That's great!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Tom! He is an inspiration to many others.
ReplyDelete(My uncle is certain he'd be dead were it not for a facility like the one Tom runs.) May God continue to bless you, Tom!!
And congratulations to your family!
Wow!! How awesome for him, and what a wonderful gift to give to others!!
ReplyDeleteYes, wonderful. I wish I could say the same for my dad. My mom, however, is on her 22nd year sober - though she is very private about it. I am glad to read happy news today. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, what an incredible life story! Thank you for sharing with us!!! God can do such amazing things if we let him!!!!
