Update Thank You

Thank you so very much for your beautiful prayers and comments!
Simeon did fine.
It was about an hour surgery
and about 2-3 hours in the recovery area.

It was odd and so very nice at the same time to actually
go home on the same day!
His eyes are very sensitive and draining a little blood
as is his nose, as the doctor sutured the stents into his nose.

So he did need to have the stents put in.
Eventually his eyes will not be watery all the time.
(when the stents come out within a year)

Prayers for all who prayed for my sweet boy, thank you!

Please Pray for Simeon!

Tuesday, sweet little Simeon will have another surgery.
This time it's considered minor, but I'm the mama,
and I say surgery is never "minor"!

He's had clogged tear ducts since birth.
He's having a nasolacrimal duct surgery to unclog his tear ducts.
He may need stents placed, which would mean an on the table decision
to drill through the bone.

I am praying specifically for a little miracle
(nothing is little with miracles either is it?)
Praying that he won't need the stents put in and he has a quick recovery
with no more red, watery eyes!

Thank you so very much for any prayers!

Two Sweet

 Two sweet 4 year olds
(OK, Ava is not quite 4, but she's sure sweet!)
And two sweet forty something mamas, got together
OK, this is Christine, "Quick, grab my pop, I have to hold it up!"
What?
Why?
She always does this, not sure why...
And
Jamie, Jamie, you need to stop wearing those sport bras...
(but they are so comfortable)
And your face is a little blurry there

My oldest daughter took the photos...
My oldest 2 girls hung on every word we tried to talk with eachother.
Christine thought it was sweet,
I thought it was a little obnoxious!  Hahaha!
(hey, I'm with them 24/7--we homeschool!)
I think I need some adult conversation!

Oh, well, it actually brings me back to when I was their age.
I used to love sitting by the grown ups and listen to what they were talking about!
I'm happy they are loving it.
 Several sweet kiddos played playdough!
What did I tell you?
Cheap, easy, fun, and it provides hours of entertainment!
 Two sweet....
 sweet...
little girls (and big girls, 40 somethings)
that had a hard time saying good bye!

Ava is my goddaughter
and my sweet 4 year old is Christine's!
We are blessed.
They are godsisters!!

Making a Comeback!

Wow! So, it's been a few years since I've been on this old blog! I have some updates to work on but thought I'd start today! Ab...
