 My 10 year old and I went out for some "mom time"

(we used to call them "mommy dates" 

but now that the kids are older, well, um...it's changed)

We went out to eat and then shopping and then onto see this movie!

At the movie theater

IT WAS SUPER!!!!

I loved it.

Steve Carell was awesome in it.

 Jennifer Garner was in it.

 TV Show review!

I am watching The Glades on Netflix.

I am really liking it.

The first couple shows, the main character, Jim, I was not so sure about.

But as each season has gone on, I've liked him more and more.

It's a murder mystery type light hearted show.

 Toilet paper!!

We all use it.

We all need it.

But not all toilet papers are the same.

This is the kind I like to buy.

It's soft, thick enough for the job and I've literally used it all my life, 

as my mom buys this kind too.

This is the best toilet paper out there.

 The problem is my toilet paper causes our new toilets to get stopped up

(with a little help from certain little people that like to use lots and lots of it,

 but do not like to flush)

Our plumber told us

(he frequents our home)

that we should switch to Scott toilet paper.

My heart sank.

Have you tried this stuff?

It is gas-station-paper thin!!

I'm sorry in advance, if you come to our home,

for our toilet paper.

You can use a ton though, even choose to not flush 

and it will not stop up our toilets.

X-Men!!

Well, I suppose you'd have to already be a fan of  the X-Men to like these.

I am.

So I loved it.

But with this one, I didn't like that because Wolverine went back to the past,

the future was changed (which was the point of the whole movie) 

but, I want to know what the new future was, which is now the past, 

because it ends in the present.

Follow me?

(Like did Mystique end up being good?)

I'm excited they could make a lot of new movies because of these questions.

Right?

 This movie was pretty good.

Different, but good.

I think Tom Cruise did a really good job at showing a man

be kind of a jerk and humble himself, by dying over and over again and again.

Now I'm probably going to get in trouble with you for this one.

I did not like this one.

I'll repeat that I did NOT like this one!

half way through, I was ready for both of them to die.

(it's about 2 terminally ill teens)

They sleep together, they show them take each other's clothes off .

Why do they do that?

They did not have to do that for this movie.

They can fall in love without sleeping together.

It happens in real life, really, it does.

But that was only one thing I didn't like about the movie.
I actually didn't like the movie.
It was slow and like I said, I wanted them to die already.

I don't know...I just didn't like it. 

(I'm the happy ending person, remember?)
(which is why I wanted them to die, so I could be happy) 

 Here's another thing I did not like!

I love to workout, really, I do.

I've been trying to work out again

But, I just don't like her personality, especially while I'm working out. 

Every day.
She's obnoxious.
Maybe she needs to workout in Hawaii or something.
Maybe she'd be happy then.

I love him.

OK, I don't really love him!

But I sure love his workouts!

Movie Reviews and Stuff

 This movie was not good.

It was a BAD movie, actually.

I don't do bad reviews usually.

I usually keep those to myself. 

But this time, I wanted to let you know.

This movie has an all star cast, 

and the acting is wonderful.

Really, the acting was superb, they all did a super job of portraying 

these nasty characters.

The movie was about nasty people and it stayed nasty the whole way though 

It had a terrible ending. 

Everyone stayed nasty.

Don't watch this one.

I thought it was an awesome movie!

 In Walter Mitty's search for this photographer, played by Sean Penn,

I was not disappointed, he turned out to be a really good guy.

I like it when good actors play good people!

 Frozen.

Do I need to tell you to watch this one?

Even adults with no children would like this one.

Serious.

Ask my 2 year old.

We could watch this movie every single day.

(maybe we do, maybe we don't, I'm not telling)

 This group, Anthem Lights was brought to my attention this week

I'm really impressed with them

I like their versions of the songs they sing better than the original artists.

I had to look up what a "Cover Group" was though.

I guess they do cover hits, songs by other people. 

That's what they do.

They do have some songs of their own though.

I hope they make it big, because I really like their voices.

(they are pretty cute too)

 that video and finding of that group, 

led me to this movie coming out in the Fall of 2014

This really looks like a great movie!

I have a date when this opens in theaters next week,
 to see this with some other MOMS!!

I'm kind of excited to laugh with other moms!!

Wonder Woman!!

Who used to watch this?

Someone once told me when my hair is wet, I look like Wonder Woman.

That's kind of stupid.

Why with my hair wet?

 Oh, yes, I see the resemblance...hahah!!!  (NOT REALLY)

Wish I had her body though.

 She's still a beautiful woman!!

This is SO not true.

At all.

 We had these new apples last week.

They are interesting.

 They are crisp and juicy

and really do taste like grapes. 

(but they taste like the fake grape flavor)

But when I'm eating an apple, I want it to taste like an apple. 

So I'm not going to buy these again.

 Oh, Easter candy, 

how I wish you'd only be here for one day.

What do you do with all your kiddo's candy?

Do you let them have it all and trust they will not eat it all in one sitting and puke later?

Or do you limit how much they can have?

(I do a little of both I guess...littles get like 2 pieces after lunch and supper and 

sometimes they get a snack)

I've been finding wrappers everywhere though...

like maybe they've been sneaking it.

Oh, well...can't wait til it's gone.

Found this one hour stuff!

It was 25 bucks (!) (at Wal-mart)

and had 4 days worth in it.

Supposedly same amount of whitening in this box

 as the stuff that costs 40 bucks and takes a week.

I have to do this about every year.

I think it works really good!

A Few Things

 I have 2 episodes of Downton Abbey on my DVR

and just can't find the time to watch!

The babies bug me in the show.

I want to hold them and play with them!

I'm sure it is like that for the very rich,

but, then, they need to show the very poor with their children or something

One time they showed, I think Lady Mary in a car, driving away,

passing the nannies walking the babies, 

and she did not even stop the car!

I'd be like, "Stop the car! Stop the car!  I must say good-bye to my baby!"

Nope.

Nothing.

 Wouldn't bloopers be fun to watch from Downton Abbey?

 I saw this yesterday on Facebook.

No wonder I can never get them to stay in anyone's hair

I've had one of those weeks, 

on the verge of tears all week.

(I got my period yesterday, that explains that)

but when it happens, it's like all my worries 

are all on edge

and the only thing that helps 

is Jesus.

I am so thankful for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, 

that He waits for me to come in Adoration.

It's long and curly and driving me crazy right now.

The Comprehensive Elimination Diet

Anyone hear of it?

Anyone try it and survive?

Tom has had some serious health issues

he's been home from work since Christmas.

His doctor put him on this diet,

to clean out his system,

so maybe his body will respond better.

He cannot have:

Wheat

Soy

Sugar or artificial sweeteners, not even honey

Oranges

Corn

Dairy

Beef or Pork
No coffee or tea

He can have Chicken or Turkey if it is all natural and raised organically
And he can have lamb
(do you know how expensive those meats are?)

Basically he's living on beans and brown rice.

He can have fruit

He does not like veggies
(which he can have)

He can have almonds and walnuts

He did not care for the almond milk...we tried it in a smoothie for him...but without the yogurt,

it just was NOT good.

I actually liked the almond milk plain. (a little)
And, NO, he does not like coconut milk, or ANYTHING COCONUT!!
(I love coconut milk and use it for my smoothies!)

It's only 30days...29days...28 days...

Hoping and praying this works.

Will you please pray for him?

I can take just about anything, if it is happening to me,

but when it is happening to people I love, 

and I'm helpless...well...it's way harder.

Gosh, I love this song!

I especially love this song. 

This song came on during my 30 minute treadmill walk,

last week

and I broke down crying (but kept walking)

It's just so powerful.

He is in front of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, 

which is why he's kneeling, 

with the Holy Father!!  

(for World Youth Day in July)

Powerful, I tell you, makes me want to fall down on my knees.

(but that makes it hard to walk on the treadmill)

 Speaking of walking,

I just had my last cup of International Foods French Vanilla Coffee today.

Last, because it takes up like 9  Weight Watcher 

points when I have a big cup like this for breakfast.

I like having this for breakfast because I don't have to think about what I want

I just make it and teach school while I drink it.

But

It's really not healthy for me at all.

It's just a pleasure.

I can give it up, right?

(OH, and the Weight Watcher thing, I"m trying, it's just that 

Halloween happened)

Speaking of Halloween, I find this funny.

We DVR a bunch of these during the night,

I LOVE it. 

This TV family is so wholesome to watch,

they do not make the parents look stupid, like the Disney shows do

 When Uncle Jesse married Becky

there was a show all about moving in together 

after they were married!!!!!

I know, right?!!!

 Boots.

I like these boots.

 I am not stylish at all.

But if I were, 

and if I had money,

I'd so wear these.

 Love this.  

It's so simple.

I do not understand in the least why this is even an issue.

 Oh, gosh, I feel this in my deep yearning for God daily.

Each time I pray, or go to Mass, or Adoration,

I can't wait til the next time!

 Since it snowed last night...

(it melted today, but it's coooold outside!)

 Now, I'm going to get myself in trouble with people.

That is not my intention, really it is not.

FACEBOOK

I like it for many things

Seeing my cousins and their kiddos

seeing my aunties, especially the ones that live far away.

I love it for religious things, images, pictures and quotes.

I like it for news worthy things and funny things

I do not check it with a phone, 

I check it like I check emails, 

you know, with a computer, at a desk, in my home.

I don't like it for the fact that I probably check it too much

I don't like it for the fact that I go to the computer to do something,

but my absent minded, mom induced ADHD distracts me and 

I end up doing nothing, except scroll down to see the 

"instant" 

The instant life

is passing by.

Talk about fast paced.
I need to slow down.
Don't we all?

I think blogging vs Facebook
is just slower.

I think I use Facebook for the wrong reasons.

I like to "LIKE" things.  

In fact, if you know me at all, 

I'd love to "LOVE" lots of things.  

Like almost everything that my friends post.

But the problem with that, is

when I really like something, since there is no "LOVE" button

to "love", I "SHARE" it.

I share it because in my mind, I'm saying to the original person,

"Yeah, alright!!  I agree with you!! SO much that I'm going to SHARE it!"

Problem with that is

sometimes those things offend others.

Which is not my intention.

like immunizing.

Way back when we had our first baby,

I met people that did not immunize.

At the time, I did not even know there was a huge debate about it.

I just asked "why don't you?"

Then we researched.

I did not get defensive

or mad

of huffy at all.
I was curious.
So I asked questions.

Why do people get huffy towards me? 

I don't want to debate anyone.

This is what we choose for now.

Good news, because they can work on making better, healthier vaccines?

That's all I want, healthy vaccines.

Vaccines that have less side effects than the actual disease it is trying to prevent.

but they are working on making them without them,

I guess I do, I guess I find it interesting, 

not maddening, or anything.

We all want what is best for our own children.

I trust you are making the decisions that work for you.

that make other people mad.

I'm trying to not comment, or ask questions of others when we 

differ on things, because I'm taken wrong.
