Cookie Rosary

I picked May to bring the snack for our Schoenstatt group (Little Crowns)

so I could do a cupcake rosary like last year, but decided at the last minute to make a "cookie rosary" instead. It took all day Saturday and Saturday night, but I actually think it turned out prettier. It was much easier to transport cookies compared to cupcakes!
I am not a great cookie decorator, but it looked pretty and was eaten up pretty fast!
Take a look at what Melissa did for the class, she and Amanda had this months lesson.
I did February with LCH (I see her blog has gone private, so no link).
It's a great group for our daughters, each mom picks a month to teach and a month to bring snack. There are guidelines to follow for each class, but it's very flexible for creative mamas to do different crafts and games as long as it fits the theme.

Candlemas and/or St Blaise

I've been seeing lots of cute ideas for the feast of Candlemas (the Presentation) and for St Blaise, but, I'm all for whatever is easiest. So, here's my idea of easy. Pretzel rods dipped in frosting and yellow/orange fruit roll-ups for the flame. (cut like a flame)
Little cheese and cracker snack packs, easily turn into little candles!
We are planning on doing the Candlemas Tea tomorrow, the ideas were sooo cute and easy to plan! I do not have all the fancy dishes and stuff, but it will still be fun!

Pigeon Poop (Bird theme snack for kids)

This is one of our "bird theme" snacks, Pigeon Poop!

4 cups peanut butter crunch cereal

3 cups rice krispies

2 cups pretzel sticks broken in 1/2

2 cups miniature marshmallows

2 bags white chocolate chips

Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl and melt white chocolate chips in microwave and cover and mix, then lay on wax paper until cooled. Break into pieces.

The kids loved making this! It's so fun to say too!!
