I didn't know there was a song, but my 8 year old niece was doing the hand/cup motions when they visited in June.
I haven't seen this, but I can see where it would be addicting. And fun to watch. Where did your girls learn it?
Would you believe Schoenstatt Camp? (a camp with sisters of Schoenstatt) The song actually comes from a movie called Pitch Perfect, (not a good, clean movie at all) I guess there is an audition and the girl sings and does this cup thing. I looked on Youtube...that's how I know. The girls know nothing of the movie, just the cup thing.
The video would not work for me? Maybe will try again later.
I fixed it, sorry about that....
I can't view it!
I can't view the video, but I know what song it is. First time I heard it, Cheyanne (Shaun's 15yr old) had recorded it on her phone of her singing it and we were both like, "Whoa! She has SUCH a great voice!!!" I always think of her with it.
Oh, neat! I loved hearing the girls sing it, all those pretty voices! It's hard to hear in the video with all the cup noise, but it was awesome in person!
My kids do that, but I don't know if they know the song.
We looked up "Cup Song Cimerelli" on Youtube and they are a Christian sisters group doing it. (not sure if they are Catholic or not) Fun to watch.
Watched it! Girls are having so much fun!
The girls are so intense, I love it. You really know how to have fun!
