2 Year Old Antics

He is officially banned from swimming pools.
He thinks he can just swim without holding on to mama
(or wearing a lifejacket)
(he might also be banned from parades--he likes to run all over the place, including people's porches and backyards, anywhere, except on the side of the road watching the parade)

So we got a little blow up one for the backyard
He is so funny outside!
Forget about swimming or getting wet, he just wants to aim the sprayer and shoot it
"Hey, where's the water?"

He was screaming here!
And yelling a bunch of gibberish, about not having the water on.

Then, he did this!
 "Now it should work"
This is serious business folks.
All he needs is water (to spray)
and he's happy.  He could do this for hours.

Treasuring every moment.

  1. So sweet! It's so much fun when they love playing in the water. Our almost 2 year old grandson will have absolutely nothing to do with a pool or splash pad. He really hates his bath too, but he loves playing outside if he can be "wingin" (swinging)!

  3. Christopher is a little water baby. He would be perfectly content to stand in front of Sims spray ALL.DAY.LONG we have volume issues when it's time to go inside. And even getting the shivers is not enough to convince him that maybe it's time to dry off. 2 year olds. They are something.

    1. Oh, he has a great raspberry tummy!! He is a busy one, that's for sure! Even when I'm holding him, like in church when he wants no one else to even touch me, he is constantly moving. He's not easy to hold, but if I try to put him down, he screams. 2 year olds. Gotta laugh.

  5. So determined and cute! Oh my! You know, we are in a drought, right? So, we can't even put on sprinklers or sprayers for fun. Huge water restrictions. I feel like my 2 year old is missing out on a right of passage for toddlers. Sad. Enjoy your summer time!

  6. Such cuteness. Don't you love when they enjoy something so much, and it doesn't require any work and there's no mess involved?? So rare. Love the video....a man on a mission.
