Awesome! I would have gone with you in a heartbeat. I so want to see this movie. So glad you got out and had a laugh and mom time. I'm thinking and praying for you!
I just remembered the movie last night and told hubby I need to get to this one. I'm glad you enjoyed it and had a good laugh. You deserve it!! Happy Mother's Day, Jamie.
Jamie, eight of us moms watched it and every single one loved the movie. I'm promoting this film because there needs to be more of this same. Bring tissues everybody!
I laughed and cried, too! I LOVED this movie!! It was spot-on in terms of "getting" motherhood! I've thought and said so much of what was in this movie. It was fantastic!
I have not seen it and from the trailer, it appears to be another "dads are stupid and can't parent ('babysit"?) their own children without major catastrophe" type...I'm hoping it's not. Husbands need to be elevated and encouraged. Does this movie accomplish that?
Thanks for sharing that! Hearts at Home has been promoting this movie hard for the past year and I was bummed to think that it didn't live up to the expectations I had. With bed rest, I'll probably have to wait until DVD, but that doesn't usually take too long!
My aunt took her husband (my uncle joe) and I guess he was like the only guy in there.ha. Feel bad I skipped out...so stressed trying to get the house cleaned..fridge looks great. Needed to get to one of colettes meets and ready for all these kids coming over. had 30 seniors up till 5am...the music kept me awake for awhile at 230am....I am just glad they were safe and having fun. One of Zach's friends got voted the homecoming king...kinda neat. Glad to hear the movie was good and you made it out. So important that you still laugh...and cry. Hope to talk to you this week! Cannot blog...because the computer downstairs is wrecked and I cant figure out how to get pictures on the lap top.
love the header photo....I did not get a picture of me and all my children this year. went to church with them all...but zach had to leave for work right after. You all look cute and pretty!

ReplyDeleteGlad that you had a good night out!
Totally!! The scenes you see in the preview are (I'm giving part of it away) are her imagination!!
DeleteI was SO impressed with the main character's husband, he was awesome...it is a Christian movie, made by the same company that made God's Not Dead...
