This picture was taken last February, around this time
Looking back at pictures from last year,
we did get quite a bit of wet snow in March and even April,
but it only went up to the bottom of the mailbox
and by April's end, most of the snow was gone...
This picture was taken this past Friday.
I don't think I can throw the snow any higher than this-
we still have March and April snows....
I just thought I'd give some of you southerners some perspective!
Well, come on down! I'd love to have you as a house guest! :). The whole gang :-). Our kids would have a blast.
ReplyDeleteOur kids would have a blast and I'd love watching Little Red with sweet little Clemintine!!
DeleteOH, and I think the moms would have a blast too!
DeleteBTW, do you know your snowfall record? Did this year break it?
ReplyDeleteThe only records I could fine were total snowfall, as in through March...but I did hear this is one of the 6 snowiest winters ever...
DeleteThat is sure a lot of snow! Hope you get some spring time soon!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is...
DeleteOh my Jamie, that is a ton of snow!!! Come to Texas, I'll make you a snow cone instead!
ReplyDeleteOh, I want to...all my Texas friends are inviting me!!
DeleteWhoooo- that's a huge amount of the white stuff. I'm in agreemenr with 9peasMom- come to Texas! We've already got the ac going full force...
ReplyDeleteShelly, up top, Patty, is also from Texas...you are the 3rd Texas friend to invite...hmmmm...it's a sign!
DeleteAC? Gosh, hard to imagine....
Hahaha! That is funny! And I'm just about an hour away from you!
ReplyDeleteWhat? Don't you have this much snow down there?
DeleteI have to admit that much snow kind of freaks me out. Actually, kind of claustrophobic!
ReplyDeleteAmy--it freaks me out too!! (hahahah)
DeleteBuried up to my butt also! And freezing my butt off this week....I wanna live by the ocean!!! somewhere warm!!!
ReplyDeleteOH, me too. Let's go visit our Texas friends!!
DeleteYes, even here in my part of Ohio it's been snowy (not as much as you though!). We finally beat the season's record of total snow fall from the snow we had at the beginning of the week. Had some more yesterday and now a foot or whatever this weekend. We're lucky in that our front yard and mail box are more protected so the big snow is in the back. And we had half of it melt a few weeks ago when we had rain and a few days of warmer weather. Still, ready for spring, and gardens, and park days, and sidewalk chalk, and reading in the sun. We'll have us some "sun days" instead of "snow days." :)
