How Are You?

How are you? I've missed you. I feel like our mailbox here, doesn't it look lonely? Just wait until winter! My blog just isn't the same without the children. I'm trying but I'm already sick of that picture on the top. I think children make everything exciting and fun. They add so much. I just keep wondering why this whole silly thing happened with my blog? I went to a new blog today, Loved Beyond All Measure, a local home schooler and was just in awe of all her beautiful pictures. (she is an amazing, sweet woman too) It did make me a little sad to think of what I deleted, even if it was only the backs and partial pictures of faces. I do want to say thank you to all of you who prayed for me and for the not so anonymous commenter's who so rudely interrupted my blog life. I'm back, kind of, as much as I can be, although my blog is a little different, it's still me.
P.S. I so dislike having "comment moderation" so sorry! Please bear with me for a while.

  3. Jamie! I am so glad you have the comments back. I've been thinking about you and praying for you. I missed the "drama" and I'm not sure just what happened, but I want to tell you that I missed "talking" with you this way!
Your blog is a lovely gift to your readers -- and to yourself. Don't let some idiot ruin it for you (and us!)
People will be unkind, insensitive, and just plain stupid. Don't let them stop you from sharing. When you put yourself "out there" you are bound to be attacked some times. Be strong. You are a wonderful lady who means only to do good. I missed you!

  5. I think that comment moderation is the perfect solution, Jamie. When I told my husband that you'd closed all comments, he said, "She let those people win."

Good for you and welcome back!

  6. Yay for comment moderation! It's such a nice feature. Everyone should use it!

(you have my permission to post this comment but I won't be insulted if you don't...I understand that you might not want people thinking that you associate with riffraff like me)

  8. Comments! Yeah! I'm so happy to see you back. I've missed being able to comment. I shall remove the comment moderation on mine now. I was so nervous about what happened to you, I thought it might be a good idea, but it's a pain in the tush to be honest. Good for you for continuing to fight the good fight and not letting others keep you from blogging. We love you!
