Today marks the anniversary of my husbands sobriety, his 20 year Anniversary! It's quite an accomplishment, especially looking back at all the blessings because of it. He opened a 24 unit half-way home for men 2 years ago and has counseled and helped literally hundreds of men struggling with sobriety and life. Drugs and Alcohol effect all walks of life, young and old, rich and poor, male and female. Not only that life, but the lives of all who know the person struggling from the addiction. I am proud beyond words. I am proud to be called his wife. He is helping the poorest of the poor. He is doing God's work every day, while I put myself in a bubble and surround myself with people like me. Then, he comes home and is the best husband and father I could ask for. He's an amazing man. Congratulations my love!
