I don't know who wrote this, but I always picture Fulton J Sheen saying this. I love that man!
I have a special love for this prayer. My oldest two memorized it to recite at a church event (can't remember the event!) that my mom hosted. My dd was quite little - maybe 4 or 5.
ReplyDeleteThis poem was on a plaque hanging in my bedroom when I was a little girl. I've always loved it! The Foxhoven Singers have a musical version of this that I think captures the peacefulness and sweetness of it perfectly ("Let the Little Children Come" is the name of the CD -- I'm pretty sure I got it from CHC)
